These curtains are in a terrible state with the backing linen faded and torn. The crewel wool motifs could be copied for kits or curtains or cut out, mounted and framed.

Description

Curtain 1 -  has 8 sprays of strawberries, melons, daisies, daffodils, rosehips, strawberries and a vine +two imcomplete sprays of flowers? and melons, all in crewel wools in shades of yellow, pink, soft green with palest blue bows.

Curtain 2 - has 10 sprays of cherries, redcurrants, oranges, roses, strawberries, large yellwo flowers and daffodils, all in crewel wools in shades of yellow, pink, soft green with palest blue bows.
Each spray 10 x 6  in; 26 x 16 cm wide.

Condition

Curtain 1 - The pale blue bows and used on flowers is very pale, so although I thought perhaps it was faded, perhaps not. All motifs very slightly faded, some more than others.

Curtain 2 - 6 motifs unfaded. Others partly.
