Two pairs of Chinese ladies conversing, sheltering under a parasol or walking amongst rocky outcrops and a variety of flowers, between a dog and a bird with outstretched wings, in petit point silks and gros point wools, in crimson, blue, greens, ochfe and off white.

A little of the background brown wool has been re worked. There is some fading of part of the ladies robes.
