This patchwork is smaller. I can't see any duplicate designs matching the larger piece.Wonderful furnishing fabric prints and colours and a this piece would be a good record of designs. I would say the Gothic designs are 1830s
Made up of forty nine hexagons, each made up of a central hexagon surrounded by six others, all in bright clear colours, many glazed, with flowers and foliage, strapwork,C scrolls, Gothic motifs, all roller printed, surrounded by white cotton, the reverse with no papers.
Each hexagon 5 1/2 in; 14 cm, containing hexagons 2 1/2 in; 6.5 cm
I would say this has not been used, probably unfinished and stored. The white hexagons have a little discolouration round the edges and to the centre. Ask for photos.
