Unmounted. We can hand stitch this to a suitable backing, ready for you to frame or you may care to do it yourself.

Description

A bunch of purple grapes hanging from a stem with a vine leaf , in shades of mauve, pinky purple, yellow, brown wools in tent stitch, outlined in silver metal thread, wrapped round a silk core and couched to the embroidery,

4 in; 10 cm drop

 

Excellent colours and condition. Now needs to be reapplied to a backing. We can do this for you.

Condition

Excellent colours and condition. Now needs to be reapplied to a backing. We can do this for you. Some of the silver wrapped silk is coming away and there is a little area where it is missing. Difficult to see.
