This corset has the wearer's name written in ink to the lower back. S Betts.
The bust area with double godets to each side, Trapunto cording from the side of bust to triple cords under the bust area, the back with nine silver metal eyelet holes, the wide shoulder straps falling forward and attached to the front with a tape and bone eyelet hole, the inside with a central pocket for a missing busk.
Bust 30 in; 76 cm
Centre front 15 1/2 in 40 cm
The corset is quite soft, so presumably well washed. There are no holes. A slight light brown mark at the back near the third eyelet hole. Slight discolouration to part of front and back. Could do with good wash which would probably remove these marks.
