the indigo silk satin ground finely embroidered with a scene of straw shelters with ovens, brushwood amongst pines and hills and mountains covered with trees and flowers, beside the sea with small boats with terracotta sails, all in shades of bronze, green, terracotta, brown and ivory silks, with lines of gold wrapped silk couching, lined with orange silk, 27 x 25 1/2 in; 70 x 65 cm.,
There is a small darkish mark to the lower left hand side. The backing is discoloured in patches.
