Cataloguing

The front waistband with a buttonhole to the right hand side, silk and linen tapes for tieing,the back waistband with a buttonhole to the left, the bands linen lined,  the side slits lined with ivory silk, the main body gently gathered into the waistband, the hems with side slits, lined with silk. 


Condition

Good colour and sloft bucksin. You should be able to see from the photo the slit and holes. The right hand slit 2 1/2 in; 6.5 cm. Below several holes. A large stain further down. Grubby to the trouser ends. The left hand side also with large area of staining and grubby at bottom. The back bottom area with holes. I think the silk tapes are original and the linen later.



These are very grubby inside.
