The high neck with two Dorset buttons, folding down to form a deep collar, the front opening with frill to each side of finer linen, a double layered shoulder strip with small gussets either side, the body with a deep double layered panel near sleeves, the sleeves tightly gathered into main body with gusset below, the full sleeves tightly gathered into narrow cuff, secured with a Dorset button, the full body with side slits and gussets.
Back neck to hem 35 in; 90 cm
Underarm 60 in; 1.5 m
Condition
There is a patch 4 x 3 1/2 in; 10x 9 cm to the lower right hand side vent. I have to say I cannot quite see why this was done. The linen is the same as the rest of the shirt and no tears apparant. Ask for photo. One little darn to the back of the right hand shoulder 1/2 in; 1.5 cm.
