A deep end border from a fine shawl woven with seven botehs or pines. Would look good hung on a wall or as a table runner.


Cataloguing

Woven in the twill weave technique with seven botehs, with four curling white tips, the base of each with a leafy tree with symetrical design below stylised small flowers, the botehs surrounded by similar leaves and foliage, surrounded by a very narrow yellow flowered border between an upper border and lower border with diagonal stylised leafy sprays, all bound with narrow green twill weave cotton.

Condition

The piece is beautifully soft. The upper and lower border have some damage. The centre boteh section seems good, few small areas of wear.  This piece needs backing if used on a table.  We can back this for you. Ask for a quote.
