This is incredibly finely embroidered piece and would look good framed. It was a kimono half collar or hah-eri.
Cataloguing
Two carriages within a landscape filled with pine trees, all finely worked in gold wrapped silk and ivory silk, on a ivory ribbed silk ground.
Condition
Very good. The left hand side is yellowed, but once propared for framing with a mount this will not show.
