Flemish Tapestry Cushions
17th c

Very decorative, lovely colours and highly useable.

A pair of woven tapestry cushion covers, each with four round roses amongst foliage, in old gold, beige, soft brown and sea green and indigo wools and silks, made into cushions with old gold linen backing, silky soft old gold fringing.17 1/2 in; 45 cm sq

Few holes to the surface. One cushion has a few weft threads parting and a few newer stitches. This could be tidied.  When you look at the underside of the second cushion, which you can see because there are no cushion pads, there are four patches. These have machine stitching repairs. Again could quite easily be removed, although looking at the surface it is difficult to see the repair. Ask for more photos.
