Embroidered Women's Slippers

Unusual subject matter with a heraldic shield to the front. Finely embroidered in small stitches. No left or right foot. Great idea for a designer.


Cataloguing

The front with a shield shape, with a blue and yelow flag, a heraldic beast and crosses, the sides with flowers in reds, oranges, neutral shades with green leaves, on a background on black embroidered lattice, all in wools on a canvas ground, the top edged with green silk, lined in pale green silk, no insole, leather soles.

Condition

Very good. There has been an amazing repair to the top green silk edging to one shoe 4 in; 10 cm. You really only notice it from inside the slipper. The front green silk of same slipper has a pinhead size wear to green silk revealing the underneath edging. The second slipper has same repair to the back top and also below. You should clearly be able to see from photos.
