Syrian Silk Robe
Early 20th c

This would make a wonderful highly wearable present. The very long sleeves could be shortened or turned up. Striking and attractive colouring. The robe was worn just over the shoulders, with the extra long or degenerate sleeves tied at the back of the robe.

for a man, of silk in red, blue, yellow, green and black stripes, with extra long sleeves culminating in similar machine black cotton embroidery, as the neck area, the later edged with a red and white very narrow trip, lined with blue and white floral Russian cotton, the inner edged with black cordruoy.
