Infants Forehead Cloths
1720s

I have tried matching these up to the caps, but either the lace is not of the same width or design. I am selling them seperately.

From the attic of an English Manor house built in 1550. Provance available.

The infants clothing collection will be sold together.

Cataloguing

All of creamy white linen, triangles, with the top width applied with a fine         bobbin lace, all with long linen ties, to secure the cloth behind the head and under the cap.

The smallest 5 in; 13 cm across. A 3/4 in; 2 cm wide lace has been laid on the back of the cloth, but with a very very narrow width showing.

Two more of similar size 6 in; 15 cm across.

The first with a very narrow .50 mm width of           bobbin lace.

The second with the lace very slightly wider.

Condition

All are a creamy shade (ie no bleaching). All have very minor damp? discolouration.
