Lovely roller print design imitating a shawl design of the period.


Cataloguing

Of challis cotton printed with a stripe with a blue ground meandering ribbon and small flowerheads, alternating with a cream ground with small flowers, in soft orange, green, light brown, mid blue and soft orange.



The bodice with shallow V neck, short bodice and short frilled sleeves, all edged with rouleau trim. The front with diagonal pleating from the central vertical rouleau trim towards the shoulders, the back  with curving seams from waist to mid arm, the opening with embroidered loops, but missing hooks, lined with a glazed ivory cotton.
