Silk Damask Dress

Delightful and unusual details on the sleeves and hem of this Romantic Style dress.
Cataloguing
Of palest café au lait coloured silk damask woven with a small repeat leaf motif, the short bodice with wide drawstring neck, the long sleeves with a cap of damask, edged with piping, from which a palest pink silk puff emerges, with a piped strap, the cuff with four cutwork piped straps, back opening with coffee silk ribbon at high waist, the hem with a wide palest pink silk padded roll, appliqué with cutwork flowers, above a hem roll of damask.
Shoulder to hem - 4 ft 2 in; 50 cm
Underarm - 32 in; 82 cm.
Hem - 6ft 8 in; 2 m
Skirt panels -17 in; 44 cm selvedge to selvedge.
Condition
In very good condition. The neck drawstring is a replacement, but the waist one is orginal, There is a 4 x 2 1/2 in; 10 x 6 cm area to the back side of the skirt with light brown markings. The lambswool wadding on the hem was popping out so we have put a few stitches.
