Description

of black satin, high quilted collar, gold and black brocade rouleau edging, the top front with a row of gold carved buttons and gold and brocade loop fastenings, above a shaped quilted panel of three shou symbols on a dragon meander ground, each lower side with three side fastenings, the back similar, lined with palest blue fine silk, high neck to hem 26 in or 65 cm; front hem 29 in or 74 cm.

Condition

Excellent. There is a light mark to the right hand side, as you look at the waistcoat, between second and third button from the right. The brocade at the very top is slightly dulled and marked inside. Ask for photo. The lining is marked as you will be able to see from the photo.
