This stole has been reduced. See condition report. It could have the beautiful ends removed and a different centre applied and used for reenactment purposes. Or if placed on a mannequin only the ends would show at the front of the dress.

The centre has been cut, reduced and seamed. One side border is missing so there is no guard striped border to one side of one end. The ends are in really good condition. You could remove the ends and put a new silk centre, using the border from the removed piece for the missing deep border side piece. Hope you can understand this! Just ask! Lots of photos available.
