Sumptous. For a young slim man.

Description

The black silk voided velvet woven with a repet pattern of small sprays of gold and silver coloured silk roses with bright green leaves, a small roll collar and six silk plain silk covered buttons, hand made buttonholes, two welted pockets,  the back with dark brown twill woven and slightly glazed cotton (silesia), a double tape fastening to the lower back, lined with tan colooured twill weave cotton.

Back nape neck to hem 17 1/2 in; 45 cm.

The underarm width 41 in; 1.05 m but the waistcoat is small for a slim young man.

The rose motifs 1 1/2 in; 3 cm high

Condition

Very good. Two small light brown markings 2.5 x .5 cm and one smaller to the lower left hand front of the waistcoat.  The back tape fastening are damaged but easily repaired.
