This charming wool woven dress linen comes from the area of Cambrai in Northern France.

Description

Natural linen woven with rows of small sprouting wool flowerheads on leafy stems, two shades of pink, indigo, tan and beige wools.

R - 22 x 31in; 56  x 80cm selvedge to selvedge    

 

 

Condition

Fresh and clean. A very few wool losses to each. A feint small mark under the first row of flowers, in the centre.  Another similar to the right of the second row of flowers.
