The colour combination is beautiful. The weaving of these shawls is so clever, the copper shade being used for the background on one side and the flowers on the other. Blue flowers on one side and background colour on the other.
A square light silk twill weave damask shawl in copper and slate blue silks, the centre with smallish repeat flower buds, the deep borders with large blossoms and leaves, short silk fringe.
