A glimpse of this red petticoat must have been quite shocking!
Twelve cotton covered watch spring hoops a waistband of cotton tape with ties, five vertical wide patterned webbing tapes holding the horizontal bands, the base with a scarlet wool covering the last three hoops.
21 in; 54 cm diameter bottom hoop.
32 in; 82 cm height.
The off white tapes are slightly grubby. Few holes to the red wool. Some of the hoops show a little rust markings. No tears.
