The fragment is woven from very soft pashmina and feels lovely.
Three rows of boteh with slightly over turning tips, filled with indigo and madder flowers all, interspersed with stylised small flowerheads, the upper border with a bud meander above a tightly packed flower sprays, similar flower spray border at bottom, all on an ivory woven twill weave pashmina.
16 x 10 1/2 in; 40 x 27 cm narrowest ie lower down.
Excellent. Look good evened out and framed.
