Ladies Ankle Boots
1810-19

The brocade fabric gives a wonderful irridescent effect. What is suprising is when you lift the ribbon trim, a startling bright green tape lace greets you. These must have looked absolutely stunning with that colour contrast. There is a right and left foot.

Description

The black silk brocaded with a green feather type effect, rounded toes, with eleven embroidered eyelets to each side of the front opening, to reveal a high tongue, the edges all covered with a narrow green/blue silk ribbon, the side and back seams similarly covered, a green and brown silk rosette, a covered low wedged heel, lined with ivory silk, leather soles. 8 1/2 in; 21.5 cm.

Condition

In very good condition.
