Glorious colour and with lovely embroidery.
The two piece with belt, Liberty & Co , London & Paris in gold on waistband label, the bodice with squarish embroidered neck with stylised flowerheads in self coloured twisted silks, fine pleating to the side and below the neck panel with deep gathers gathering to the front of the waistband, divided peplum, the sleeves puffed at the shoulder and gathered into deep embroidered cuffs, hooks & handmade eyes fastenings, the slightly trained skirt with a linen waistband and deep hem, the curved belt of three folds.

The bodice is in very good condition, as is the skirt at first glance. However, there are some very feint watermarks to the right hand front 14 in; 36 cm from top, an area of about 4 x 3 in; 10 x 7 cm and a little beyond, but have to say they are very difficult to see. A couple of very feint marks to the lower left hand side. One very small pin head hole tothe back. The belt's lower pleat has some marks. Please see photos.
