Very nice to have the Liverpool button maker stamped on the buttons. For once all the buttons are correct.

of fine palest green wool, the wide fall front with two buttonholes, buttoned at the sides, revealing two flap pockets, with a total of 10 more metal buttonsJ stamped J Davis & Co, Liverpool, a watch pocket on the waistband, the top edge bound with mid brown twill weave cotton above glazed natural cotton, the back with more buttons above inserted panels, straight legs.

Condition

These are grubby and could do with a clean. There are many light brown markings to the front and a few insect holes. The fabric is strong.
