Designed by William Morris and registered on 8 December 1883. The wooden block is in the William Morris Gallery, London. This piece is now a cushion cover, together with piping, but could be unpicked and framed or make it into another cushion.
Pairs of thrushes amongst tulips and briar roses, in shades of red, pink, pale yellow, pale blue and green, grey hand block printed on cotton.
21 1/2 in; 55 cm square.
Good condition. Very slightly faded near the bottom.
