Honeysuckle was designed by William Morris and registered on 11 October 1876. Thomas It was block printed by Thomas Wardle. It was also  printed on many cloths such as velveteen, tusser silk, challis and cottons.

Description

The linen background of dark brown hand block printed with huge honeysuckle, foliage and tulips in soft shades of pink, blue and natural, made up of two widths of fabric.

5ft 8 in x  5ft 10 in; 1.73 x 70 cm. Width measurement at straight bottom edge.

 

Condition

As you should be able to see very damaged and faded, but rather beautiful.  There are some large pieces which could be salvaged and framed up.
