 Reputed to have belonged to HRH Princess Sophia (1777 - 1848) . Princess Sophia was the fifth daughter of George III. A hand written note in the bag Netted Bag used by HRH Princess Sophia

The bag was the property of Maria Symon whose family member was a lady in waiting to Queen Victoria - their home was in East Balmoral, Crathie.
