Such fun. Clearly owned by L Willets. Beautifully hand sewn and great quality cotton.
L Willets, No 8, written in brown ink on the wide waistband, gathered into the drawers, a large embroidered buttonhole to the right side of the waistband, the front with square stregenthening gussets to the base of the open crutch, the back with waist ties, two mother of pearl buttons, shaped horizontal seaming to the hip area, the hem with finer cotton frills, French seaming throughout.
Excellent. I would say unworn.
