Stunning on black silk and very beautiful.

Description

The black twill weave silk, woven to each end with a deep border of five upright fat pines, filled with a shded pink rose, mauve daisies and another yellow and rust flower, surrounded by green foliage, small upright bell type flowers on stems appear between the base of the pines, with mauve vinca type flower above, all between guard stripes, the inner with small white flowers, the outer with larger daisy type flowers, the edging borders with a red, yellow and black stripe, short fringe.

8ft x 30 in;  2.45 m x76 cm wide

Condition

One pinhead hole to black centre.  So often these shawls have really discoloured centres, due to the dye being fugitive, so it is really nice to have a mint condition example.
