Plain and elegant and rare to find more substantial practical shoes. This style continued into the 1850s.
Brown leather with rounded toe, seven eyelet holes to each side, the top edged with brown braid, straight leather soles.
Sole to heel 8 1/2 in; 24 cm
Very good. I have two very narrow oldish laces to go with the shoes, although they are black. The soles show a little wear.
